The story of Body Kinetics Wellness begins with its founder, Christina Chao. Following her graduation from Massage Therapy School, Christina encountered a family crisis when two close families in her life were affected by cancer and required post-surgery care. Over the course of three challenging months, Christina tirelessly searched for suitable care for her loved ones. This experience motivated her to further her education and commit to assisting those in need of holistic post-operative recovery. Her vision was to establish a health and wellness center that would not only serve the community but also promote optimal health for all.
In 2015, BKW commenced its journey as a massage clinic dedicated to advancing wellness through massage therapy. As the years passed, BKW expanded its offerings to encompass a wider range of therapies, including Oncology Massage, Manual Lymph Drainage, Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Brain Work for Concussion, and other manual techniques. These therapies were carefully selected to facilitate recovery from injuries and physical traumas, with BKW taking great pride in having alleviated pain and discomfort for numerous clients.
Fast forward to 2022, and BKW had transformed into a comprehensive recovery and healing center. Building on years of accumulated knowledge and experience, BKW incorporated advanced technologies and machinery to support post-operative recovery from various medical procedures, such as c-sections, liposuction, and other surgeries.
Today, BKW offers a diverse array of services, including Post-op Lymphatic Recovery, functional diagnostic Nutrition Consultations, Sound Healing, and Craniosacral Therapy for Somatic Emotional Release. These services are instrumental in supporting clients throughout their recovery journeys, helping them attain their best physical and emotional states, and ultimately enhancing their overall health and wellness.
